During this course (Intercultural Management II) the student applies the knowledge, attitudes and skills gained in Intercultural Management I in two assignments:
1) Real-life case (group assignment). It can be the organization of the international (marketing) communication case module, or another organization that deals with cultural diversity and inclusion. The aim is to enrich the organization with tips and tricks on how to improve and/or how to achieve more effective and more inclusive communication within the company, to put empathize on the benefits of cultural diversity.
2) Communication team (individual assignment). The student reflects on the group process of the international (marketing) communication case module. The aim is to become more aware of the challenges and successes he encountered during the process, in order to learn how to deal with cultural diversity in future group work (at the university, but also in his future professional life.
- The student applies different models and theories on intercultural management to a real-life case, to enrich the organization with advice on how to achieve (more) effective and (more) inclusive communication
- The student applies different models and theories on intercultural management to reflect on the group process of the international (marketing) communication case module
To access the minor Intercultural and International Communications, students must be able to read, write and communicate in English without major difficulties (B2,C1).
There might be additional costs for fieldtrips or visit to the client(s).
